Hello. My husband and I have been TTC since September. My ob/gyn told me to start taking prenatals two months before trying to conceive. She prescribed me one called Tandem DHA. I have a very hard time swallowing large pills and she said this was one of the smallest ones, but I was still having trouble. Also this pill has an awful fish taste. I then purchased the Walgreens over the counter prenatals, and found these even more difficult to swallow. I recently purchased Buried Treasure liquid prenatal at Whole Foods, which seems to have enough of everything it however, it has 8,000 mg of Vitamin A! Isn’t that way too much? I’ve heard too much Vitamin A can be toxic. I’ve also read online that many people take two Flinstones’ vitamins instead of of a prenatal vitamin, but I also worry that would be too much. Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks!

ok so, you smoke marijuana, but you drink green tea every night, have a physical job, drink water, eat healthy, take vitamin & antioxidant supplements like vitamin c with bio flavinoids would less marijauna stay in ur hair then someone who doesnt

Vitamins now come in chewable, liquid so you can swig them down, or just toss a couple in your mouth and wash them down.
What is your preference?
And do you take yours daily or whenever you think of it?
Are you sporadic in taking them?

What do you think about this food.?

I’m getting a puppy, and looking at some different options on dry food, I’ll also be homemaking some nice meals that agrees with his stomach and is good for him.
But for dry food, I was wondering about Innova.

* Highly digestible ingredients.
* Cold pressed sunflower oil, chicken fat and ground flaxseed provide the perfect balance of fatty acids for the development of healthy skin and coat.
* Fresh chicken and turkey meat plus high-quality chicken meal are the foundation for great taste.
* Innova incorporates elements from the five food groups – meat, dairy, vegetables, fruit and grain plus essential fats and oils to deliver supreme nutrition for overall health.
* Dairy group – cottage cheese providing plenty of nutrient-rich calcium, protein and vitamins A and B. Protein group – fresh turkey, chicken and herring meats, these high quality meat proteins provide essential amino acids.
* Vegetable group – carrots, potatoes, alfalfa sprouts and whole clove garlic add antioxidant vitamins A and C, carbohydrates, fiber and other minerals. The vegetables are fresh, whole and not pre-processed so important nutrients are locked in.
* Fruit group – fresh, whole apples provide important “protector” nutrients. The antioxidant vitamin C helps form healthy new cells.
* Antioxidants beta-carotene and vitamin A aid in good vision, bone and tooth development.
* Grain group – all natural whole grains, important sources of B vitamins, carbohydrates, iron, fiber and selenium. Barley and brown and white rice provide complex carbohydrates.
* Fats and oils group – key dietary source for essential fatty acids for healthy skin and coat. Innova follows the strictest of pet food manufacturing guidelines before any food is shipped, it must pass 121 quality-control checks.

Home-made rat/mouse food?

What do you feed your rats/mice?
Do you buy lab blocks or make your own rat food?
What brand of blocks/what is in your home-made food?

Here is my recipe:

Amounts can be stretched and chopped down, depending on the number of rats. The recipe is for about two weeks for 6 rats. (Treats and fresh foods excluded) It turns into a kind of paste, you can bake half of it (or all, I suppose) into ratty-cookies and alternate to avoid “mushy poop” or whatever. Keep in mind all ingredients should be organic.

2 lbs of fruit and (steamed) veggies:
Assorted berries
Grapes
Melon
Apple
Peas
Greens – spinach, chard, turnip greens
Broccoli
Bok-choy
Kale
Sprouts
Tomato
Parsley
Corn
Squash
Carrot
Assorted beans
