Can amino acid supplements cause hallucinations?
For about four months now, I’ve been taking L-Theanine and L-Tyrosine. I generally take one L-Tyrosine and two L-Theanines in the morning. Yesterday I took four theanine and two tyrosine tabs, and an hour later I started feeling very weird and euphoric, and then I started hallusenating really intensley. It was like being on a shroom or mescaline trip, very trippy. My brain felt like it was zooomin!! lol. It was about five hours later when the euphoria and hallusenations went away.
I still feel pretty weird today, but am ok. Is this the first report of hallucinations in taking L-Theanine or L-Tyrosine? Is the reason I hallucinated because of the amino acid’s affects on the dopamine and serotonin of the brain? Did I take more of a dosage than I should of? Could it be because I drank alot of green tea and a red bull before taking the supplements? I have now stopped taking the supplements. Does anybody have any scientific mental health theorys on why this happened or had any similar experiences with amino acid side effects?
Is milk actually good for the body?
I once heard someone say “calcium can’t be absorbed through a liquid”. Is this true? What does milk really do other then your mom saying “It makes your bones strong honey

Is taking a multivitamin AND drinking slimfast daily overloading on vitamins?
Slimfast has a lot of vitamins and minerals too I think. I also take a multi vitamin for women. Could this be too much of some vitamins?
versanl……FOCUS on the question that was ASKED. I didn’t ask your opinion on Slimfast which by the way is rated by consumer reports as an excellent source of nutrition. Also I only have it for breakfast usually so I get plently of food from all the groups!
Too many antioxidants and cancer?
I heard that too many antioxidants (vitamins c and e were mentioned) can cause cancer in women. Anyone else hear/know anything about this? I was taking supplements of both but now I’m a little scared about doing so.
Parrot Bird Vitamins?
I have used Avi-Vite Iodized Bird Vitamins for my African Grey for over 25 years. He has wonderful feathers and the brightest red tail! I have been told that Gimborn is discontinuing the large 16 oz size and maybe the whole line of that vitamin. Anyone know of a really good either liquid iodized vitamin supplement for parrots or if Hagen Prime vitamins is a good vitamin to substitue with?

I take a magnesium chloride tablet. I commonly see a liquid that leaks out of the tablet, yet does not evaporate. What is it?
