Question by Megatron: Science Fair Help: How do you isolate nutrients/ vitamins in food?
For my grade 10 science fair [2009-2010] me and my partner are going to try to isolate certain nutrients and vitamins and compare the nutritional value of diferent types of food.
Question: What procedure is possible to isolate these certain nutrients and vitamins? We have access to a lab and we just need an idea on how to do this.

Question by Martina Rose: Which vitamins, minerals and dietary supplements are known to cause Acne? Which ones can help prevent them?
I noticed that when I take supplements and my vitamins, I start breaking out. I wonder if I am overdosing on somethings… I know Iodine is known acne. Are there any more?

Okay, here’s the equation:
Solid magnesium oxide reacts with hydrochloric acid to yield a solution of magnesium chloride and liquid water.
Here’s what I believe is the equation to solve from the text:
MgO + HCl –> MgCl +H2O
When I try to solve this equation, I keep creating a “loop”, where one side is satisfied, but the other isn’t and the problem continues FOREVER. Thanks for all the help.

Lately I have been losing weight. Doctor told me a few months ago I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. But I go poop like 4 times a day everything I eat goes right through me, not that it is bad, but I have no energy and I feel like the foods nutrients arent absorbed into my body. Anyone know anything that can help with this?
